The gap is 8,70 €, a little over 10 % — roughly the price of the sifter. But savings are not the only reason to choose this box. You also choose it because everything arrives together, in packaging that is ready to gift, without having to pick the four right pieces yourself — and because a poorly chosen chasen is enough to spoil a good matcha.

Is the Starter Pack suitable for a complete beginner?

Yes, that is exactly what it was put together for. You get the powder and the three necessary utensils — sieve, scoop, whisk — plus the four-step method described above. No additional purchase is needed to prepare your first bowl, apart from a bowl from your kitchen and water at 75 °C.

How many bowls can you prepare with the box?

The box contains 30 g of Saemidori matcha. At 1 g per bowl — the dose measured by a level chashaku scoop — that is around thirty preparations. For lattes, count roughly 2 g per cup, so about fifteen drinks. Once the tin is empty, you can reorder the Origin Matcha Saemidori 30 g powder on its own and keep your utensils.

What is the difference with the Master Pack?

The Master Pack — Large Box (98,90 €) contains everything in the Starter Pack and adds a matcha bowl and a whisk holder. Choose the Starter Pack if you already own a suitable bowl, and the Master Pack if you want a complete ritual straight out of the box, or a more generous gift.

Does the box arrive ready to gift?

Yes. The box is shipped in its careful packaging, with no commercial paperwork slipped inside: you can give it as is. Orders leave within 24 to 48 hours in metropolitan France, with tracked delivery.
